How do I place an order?

Currently, we accept orders through our contact form or by phone. Simply reach out with details about the items you're interested in, quantities, and any special requests. We'll get back to you to confirm availability, pricing, and to arrange payment.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Venmo
  • Cash (for local pickup only)

Payment must be received in full before orders are processed or shipped.

Can I cancel or modify my order?

You may request to cancel or modify your order within 24 hours of placing it by contacting us via email or phone. After this time, we may have already begun processing or creating your items, especially for custom orders.

Please note that custom orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun. Standard items that have not shipped may be eligible for cancellation, subject to a 10% processing fee.

Are your products handmade?

Yes! All of our products are genuinely handmade in our workshop in Johnson City, Tennessee. We take pride in creating each item with careful attention to detail, using traditional crafting methods.

Our handmade approach means that each item is unique and may have slight variations in appearance, which adds to the charm and authenticity of artisanal products.

What ingredients do you use in your candles and soaps?

We are committed to using high-quality, natural ingredients in all our products:

Candles: Our candles are made with 100% natural soy wax, cotton wicks (lead and zinc free), and scented with essential oils. We do not use synthetic fragrances, dyes, or paraffin wax.

Soaps: Our soaps are made using the cold process method with plant-based oils (such as olive, coconut, and shea), essential oils for fragrance, and natural colorants like clays, herbs, and botanical extracts. We do not use synthetic fragrances, dyes, or preservatives.

Are your products eco-friendly?

Yes, sustainability is important to us. We strive to make eco-friendly choices throughout our production process:

  • We use renewable, biodegradable, or recyclable materials whenever possible
  • Our packaging is minimal and primarily recyclable or reusable
  • We source materials locally when available to reduce our carbon footprint
  • Our candle containers are designed to be reused or repurposed
  • We avoid plastic in our packaging where alternatives exist
How long will it take to receive my order?

Processing times vary depending on the items ordered and our current order volume:

  • Ready-made items: 1-3 business days processing time
  • Custom or personalized items: 3-7 business days processing time
  • Gift wrapping services: 1-2 business days processing time

Once your order ships, delivery typically takes:

  • Standard shipping: 3-5 business days within the continental US
  • Expedited shipping: 2-3 business days
  • Local delivery (within Johnson City): 1-2 business days

Please note that these are estimates and delivery times may vary, especially during holiday seasons.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do ship internationally to select countries. International shipping rates vary by destination and package weight. Please contact us for a shipping quote to your location.

Please note that international orders may be subject to customs fees, import duties, or taxes imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our shipping fees.

Is local pickup available?

Yes, we offer free local pickup at our workshop in Johnson City, Tennessee. When placing your order, simply indicate that you prefer local pickup, and we'll contact you when your items are ready to be collected.

Our pickup hours are:

  • Monday - Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Sunday: Closed
Can you create custom or personalized items?

Absolutely! We love creating custom pieces tailored to your preferences. We offer customization for most of our products, including:

  • Custom scent combinations for candles and soaps
  • Personalized labels or packaging
  • Custom gift sets with your choice of items
  • Specific color schemes for gift wrapping
  • Personalized greeting cards

To request a custom order, please contact us with details about what you're looking for, and we'll work with you to create something special.

Do you offer corporate or bulk orders?

Yes, we offer corporate gifting and bulk order options for businesses, events, or special occasions. Our handmade items make unique corporate gifts, wedding favors, or event giveaways.

We offer discounted pricing for bulk orders and can include your company logo or event information on packaging when appropriate. Please contact us at least 4-6 weeks in advance for large orders to ensure we can accommodate your timeline.

How far in advance should I order custom gifts?

We recommend placing custom orders as far in advance as possible to ensure we can accommodate your request and timeline. Here are our general guidelines:

  • Small custom orders (1-5 items): At least 1-2 weeks before needed
  • Medium custom orders (6-20 items): At least 2-3 weeks before needed
  • Large custom orders (20+ items): At least 4-6 weeks before needed

During busy seasons (holidays, wedding season), we recommend adding an extra week or two to these timeframes. Rush orders may be accommodated depending on our current workload and may incur an additional fee.

How should I care for my candle to get the best burn time?

To get the most out of your handmade candle, follow these care tips:

  1. First burn: Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the container (about 2-3 hours) to prevent tunneling.
  2. Trim the wick: Before each lighting, trim the wick to 1/4 inch to prevent smoking and extend burn time.
  3. Burn time: Limit burn sessions to 4 hours or less to prevent overheating.
  4. Avoid drafts: Keep the candle away from fans, open windows, or air vents to prevent uneven burning.
  5. Discontinue use: Stop using the candle when 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the container.

With proper care, our candles typically provide 40-60 hours of burn time, depending on the size.

How should I store my handmade soap?

To extend the life of your handmade soap and maintain its fragrance and quality:

  • Store soap in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
  • Use a well-draining soap dish that allows air circulation to prevent the soap from sitting in water.
  • Allow soap to dry thoroughly between uses.
  • For longest shelf life before use, store unwrapped soap in an unsealed paper bag or box where it can breathe but is protected from dust.

Natural handmade soaps have a shelf life of approximately 6-12 months when properly stored before use. Once in use, the soap should last 2-4 weeks depending on frequency of use and care.

Are your products safe for people with sensitive skin?

Many of our products are gentle and suitable for sensitive skin, as we use natural ingredients and avoid harsh chemicals. However, individual sensitivities vary greatly, and natural ingredients can still cause allergic reactions in some people.

If you have known skin sensitivities or allergies, we recommend:

  • Checking the full ingredient list for each product (available on request)
  • Performing a patch test before regular use
  • Considering our unscented options which are typically gentler for sensitive skin
  • Contacting us to discuss custom formulations that exclude specific allergens

Please note that our products are crafted in a space that handles various essential oils, botanical materials, and nut oils, so they may not be suitable for those with severe allergies to these ingredients.
